What we are
NDASafe is a document preparation service. We produce legally reviewed UK non-disclosure agreement templates that you populate with your own details in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. You pay once per document, download it immediately, and keep it for life — no accounts to maintain, no subscriptions, no per-signature fees. Eight variants cover the situations UK businesses meet most often: mutual NDAs, one-way NDAs (from either the disclosing or receiving side), and purpose- built agreements for employees, freelancers and investors.
What we are not
We are not a law firm and we are not your solicitor. We do not provide legal advice, we do not draft bespoke clauses for your specific deal, and we do not represent customers in disputes. A template is a strong, professionally structured starting point — not a substitute for advice where significant value, unusual risk, or a cross-border element is involved. For those situations, take independent legal advice before you sign.
How our templates are produced
Each template is drafted for the law of England and Wales, with selectable governing-law options for Scotland and Northern Ireland, and is legally reviewed against applicable UK law at the point of release. We write in plain English, mark every input as a highlighted [FIELD] so nothing is missed, and include short inline guidance next to the clauses people most often get wrong. Where the law makes a clause non-negotiable — for example the whistleblowing and protected-disclosure carve-outs that a UK Employee NDA must preserve — we tag it [mandatory] and explain why it cannot lawfully be removed. Freelancer agreements carry IR35-aware, explicitly non-employment language; investor agreements include non-circumvention provisions suited to fundraising. Templates are versioned, and we re-review them when the underlying law changes.
Why we built this
Solicitor fees for even a simple NDA in the UK typically run £150 to £350. Free templates from generic download sites carry no quality signal and routinely miss UK-specific provisions — the whistleblowing carve-out in employee NDAs, IR35 hygiene in freelancer agreements, sensible term and survival periods. NDASafe sits deliberately in the middle: legally reviewed quality at a price an SME, startup or sole trader can approve without escalation, delivered in minutes rather than days.
What you get
An editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file delivered to your inbox the moment your payment clears, plus a lifetime download link you can use again whenever you need a fresh copy. We never see the parties, terms or content you fill in — the template is yours from the moment you download it. We hold only your email address and order reference, and the order record stays in Stripe and our email provider. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never handle your card details.
Who is behind NDASafe
NDASafe is operated by WSC Group Ltd (Company No. 17117072), registered at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO reference CSN0004881). It is part of the same family of UK document services as LetSafe UK (landlord compliance) and WillSafe (will templates) — same approach, same standard, a different document each time.
NDASafe was founded by Richard Wood, who writes and maintains its plain-English guides to UK non-disclosure agreements. Guides are researched and reviewed against current England & Wales law. To be clear: Richard is the founder of a self-help template business — not a solicitor, and NDASafe is not a firm of solicitors. Our guides are educational and are not legal advice.
